Vladimir Habjan, a journalist since 1994, collaborates with several magazines, publishing numerous articles on the world of mountaineering and the mountains. Since 2001, he has served as editor of the Slovenian magazine Planinski vestnik and, since 2017, as editorial director of Planinska založba Slovenije, the publishing house of the Slovenian Mountaineering Association. He is the author of several mountaineering guides and has collaborated with numerous Slovenian publishing houses. Alongside his journalism career, he also works as a photographer.

Irena Mučič Habjan, a graduate in chemical sciences, boasts a significant record in mountaineering: she was the first woman to pass the mountain rescue exam at the GRS Kamnik association. In addition to her technical work, she also works as a journalist specializing in mountain topics. In her professional field, she has published several scientific articles, together with Vladimir Habjan, and is co-author of several guidebooks. Since 2008, she has been a member of the editorial board of the Planinski vestnik magazine and collaborates as an editor for the Planinska založba publishing house.
