FAQ iClimbing 2.0

Utilization

  • You can change the language of the app and its content to Italian, English, or German.
    You can change the language from the “Profile” section.

  • Directions to the parking area suggested by our authors are part of the premium content and are therefore accessible only after unlocking the area of interest, either through a purchase or with iClimbing codes.

    Once unlocked, simply tap the “Access” section within a spot, then “Go to the parking area on Google Maps.”

  • You can create an account from the iClimbing app or from the versantesud.it website.
    The login details are the same.

  • You can access content offline only if you have purchased the Spot. Select it and tap the “Download” button.

    You’ll find the downloaded Spot in the “Purchases” section.

Purchases

  • Simply select the Spot you want and tap “Buy Spot / Guide.”

    Choose whether to purchase the single Spot or the full guide. You will be redirected to versantesud.it, where you can complete the purchase through our website.

  • The data related to the premium content in your profile remains saved.

    If you want to install the app again in the future and access your previous purchases, simply use the same login credentials.

  • By purchasing a Spot or a guide, you will get all the information for that Spot or guide, including access to the parking area, routes, descriptions, and topos.

iClimbing Code

  • It is an alphanumeric code that allows you to activate premium content without having to pay for the relevant extract or guide.

  • In the new Versante Sud guidebooks and in new reprints that feature the iClimbing logo on the cover, as well as in our promotional newsletters.

    Do not confuse the iClimbing code with the code used to download GPS tracks.

  • To activate a code, you need to be registered on iClimbing. Log in to the Profile section, select “Redeem code”, and enter the alphanumeric characters exactly as they are written, since uppercase and lowercase letters are treated as different.

  • Double check the code and try entering it again. If it still doesn’t work, contact us at iclimbing@versantesud.it

  • It is possible that another user redeemed the code before you. In this case, please contact us at iclimbing@versantesud.itfor assistance.

     

  • The code is linked to the physical guidebook, so it belongs to whoever currently owns the copy.

    If you purchased a used guidebook and the iClimbing code does not work, please contact us at iclimbing@versantesud.it.

User Data

  • To request the deletion of your account and the related user data, please send an email to iclimbing@versantesud.it with the subject line: ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST.
