This guidebook will lead you to the discovery of a varied region, presenting approximately 2.400 km along 83 routes, for a total difference in altitude of 88.000 metres. The author wants you to explore fabulous places, in an area rich in history, presenting routes for every taste, thanks also to a subdivision allowing to choose gradual and increasing difficulties.

The guidebook is divided in six larger areas, each one with a convenient starting point: the lower Brescia countryside, the town of Brescia, the Franciacorta, Valvestino, Garda Lake and Iseo lake, starting from an altitude of 70 metres in Toscolano Maderno up to 2136 metres at Giogo della Bala. The routes are carefully described, thanks to clear planimetries and GPS routes, including the most notable waypoints. It will be virtually impossible to get lost, and the bikers will be able to explore choosing from a wide range of difficulties, according to their skills, fitness, available time.

Furthermore, there are several historic pages, presenting local features and interesting places to visit, in addition to suggestions regarding the best places for tasting the wonderful cuisine of this area. This guidebook aims not only at presenting the mountain biking activities, but also at being a reference for a sustainable exploration and tourism, allowing to gain a satisfactory knowledge of the area, spacing in many different directions.

Romano Artioli lives in Castellucchio, near Mantua. He started exploring the mountains in his teenage, thanks to summer camps, walking near all the valleys of Brescia. Later, he decided to retrace those hikes riding a mountain bike, and describing virtually any single route and alternative options, wishing to share them with all the outdoor enthusiasts. He posts regularly his adventures online, in blogs and social media, presenting as well interesting photographic reportages. He is a regular contributor to local and regional projects, sharing the knowledge and the experiences he gained in several years.
